Paula is the most fascinating character in the world to me, with her thwarted ambition, voracious sexual and intellectual drive, and deep denial and self-delusion about her ability to change her life. Her projection onto/enabling of/obsession with Rebecca are everything I want out of this request.
You can go in a canon direction, with both women kind of never acknowledging their latent bisexuality, or diverge in any way you fancy. Shenanigans around Rebecca's love interests are always a good start with them. Would love the Best Friend Squad or any coworkers to make an appearance too. Ann fretting with jealousy and rage? Stormy scenes in the parlour and icy formal dinners? Mariana Lawton's fingers in Anne's mouth? You get it! Period voice/narration a major plus! Wouldn't sneeze at epistolary/diary format either (especially when diary entries are unreliable-narratorly contrasted with regular narration about how it actually went down)!

Hornblower makes the perfect whump-bait, no? Would love any angst with him not living up to his own standards, being lovingly daddied or scolded by Pellew, being sadistically tormented by Sawyer (perhaps with Bush as an agonized onlooker), Bush wishing he would treat himself with as much kindness as he treats others, good ol' prisoner-of-war stuff? Basically would just love some big brown puppy eyes trying their best to comply with the harsh standards of the Royal Navy, which are still not as harsh as his own standards for himself! Ratings of T, M, and E all lovely. Period-typical gore and naval discipline and homophobia/racism/so forth are all fine and dandy.
Or, if you like, you could do Hornblower/Bush or Hornblower/Pellew in any M or E permutation (or Hornblower/Sawyer suffering...??). That would be phenomenal as well. I especially love historically plausible kink writing, with no modern consciousness of consent/safewords/etc. but with intensity and mutual longing/hunger for their chosen activity. Hornblower feeling horribly guilty for the pleasure he gets from being praised by Pellew? Hornblower and Bush reclaiming the fear of a flogging/"kissing the gunner's daughter" by recreating it privately in onshore lodgings...? Et cetera et cetera.

I have selected Worldbuilding here because I'm primarily interested in knowing more about the peoples of the tower before, during, or after the game, in whatever way you're interested in exploring. If you'd like to invent new characters or base them off some of the (mostly) unnamed characters we meet in the game, please go with whatever works best. A few of the things I'm interested in are: the protest posters under the Bards' level - what had been happening with the serfs before the levels open up, and what happens after? I'm also really interested in how the languages affect the way the peoples see the world - what it means that the warrior language has no pronouns, the different ways me/you/us/not-us are constructed in different languages, which concepts each of the languages need words for. I'd love to know what happens when the languages start blending - do the peoples start borrowing each other's words, is there any resistance to using words not from their own languages? Other questions: tell me about the Alchemists and Warriors trying to restore the 'monster' and how the joint planning of that mission goes; or the geography in the tower is...odd, if you'd like to explore that? Really anything about the world of the game, its peoples or how they communicate with each other would be great.

The Great North (Cartoon)

I love the world of The Great North, both Lone Moose and its environs/community, and the Tobin family itself. Honeybee is so great - what's it like for her to uproot her whole life and find herself (mostly) fitting better in this entirely new setting so far from what her parents expected of her? She says she tries not to throw around the phrase 'white nonsense' but there must have been times right at the beginning - or even later on - when she experienced some level of strangeness moving from Fresno to Lone Moose. In S4 we saw a little of her questioning - not her relationship with Wolf - but whether it meant anything about her that she 'followed' him to be his wife. Ship-wise I'm interested in how she and Wolf realised that their relationship had progressed to the point where she could make that move, if they ever talk more about Wolf feeling some guilt that she had to be the one to move because he could never leave his family. But I'm also interested in the fun they have together, and in the ways that they both represent something to each other that they were missing - that they feed off each other's creativity, can recite movie quotes all day long, and are also both each other's opportunity to change and grow. Entirely optional prompt: these are two people who regularly and cheerfully discuss the handsomeness of actors/visitors to Lone Moose together. Did they ever accidentally pick someone up together? Did they ever intentionally pick someone up together and have to work out what they wanted? (I do very much enjoy them as a couple and wouldn't want angsting about their relationship status or anything infidelity-adjacent - I'm more interested in how their relationship is very committed and still has plenty of room for them to have discussed that the overlap in their freebie list is Clippy the Microsoft Paperclip.)
Gen-wise I'd be interested in Honeybee with anyone else in the tagset, or her adventures in the town more generally. I do really love the episodes we get with Honeybee and Moon, e.g. in You've Got Math Adventure, I really enjoyed Moon and Honeybee on a mission together, and that her instinct was to help Moon work through his secret concern that he had a different father, rather than taking it to someone else to solve. In turn, I like all the parts where Moon tries to help Honeybee with the odd traditions of Lone Moose and incorporates her into his plans. I'd also love to see Honeybee on another girls trip with Judy (and Kima and Amelia? Aunt Dirt?) or she and Judy supporting each other. Jerry isn't in the tagset but their relationship is also fab and contrasts really well with the Tobins - I do love to see them giving each other the 'we love these people but this is bananas' look. Or else give me Honeybee taking on more local politics, starting a new business, joining the school PTA etc - town shenanigans with Honeybee are always great.

These two are so charming. I would like to see more of them being charming together. Romantically I am all over Colt being devoted and acrobatic, and Jody being maybe a little too much into giving him direction, but also wanting to keep him safe (in her bed?). I also really loved the scenes where Jody was talking through ideas with Colt, and how they used film techniques to think through their relationship and the story they were telling together. I'd love to see something that explored their relationship after the main events of the film, when they're making another movie together and still using direction as a metaphor for their story. Or maybe Jody trying to work out what genre she wants to work in next while Cody argues - does he prefer sci-fi over fantasy, or more traditional action over something more conceptual? Alternatively, do they ever talk more about their time apart? In the film they do most of their reconciliation through work and then through crisis - what's it like for them afterwards?

Regency Faerie Tales Series - Olivia Atwater

I would really like to see something between the end of the main story in 'Half a Soul' and the epilogue, or at around the same time as Longshadow and its conclusion. I really loved Dora in Half a Soul, and how her romance with Elias is impacted by their various probably-neurodivergences and not fitting in with the rest of Regency society. I'm interested in what the relationship between Dora and Elias is like after they get married and how it develops, especially if they're trying to solve magical puzzles together or figuring out how to make the world a little better in the ways possible to them.
I enjoyed getting to see more of the two of them from another perspective in Longshadow, and meeting Abigail as a young woman who has clearly learned and taken inspiration from Dora&Elias but also from her Other Mum in Lady Hollowvale, and from her own experiences growing up in a workhouse and then trapped in faerie. I like Abigail so much for her stubbornness, and her frustration at both injustice and foolishness, and the way she loves her family even/because they're not conventional. I also enjoyed in Longshadow that we got to see more of Lady Hollowvale as her own person, living as marchioness of Hollowvale and looking out for the children still there. Abigail loves both of her mothers, but the relationship between Dora and Lady Hollowvale (and Elias) must be confusing sometimes, and given the ending of Half a Soul I am interested in that too. I absolutely don't need all of that in one story - please take up whatever elements are more interesting to you and use the subsets of the characters: Dora & Elias; Dora & Abigail; Dora & Elias & Abigail; Dora & Lady Hollowvale; Abigail & Lady Hollowvale; Abigail & Dora & Lady Hollowvale; Abigail & Dora & Elias & & Lady Hollowvale

Ah, these games. I have been playing them for over twenty years and have no plans of stopping.
This year, I would love a story with any of the following character combinations:
* a story featuring Charname and Gorion and Anomen
* a story about just Charname and Gorion
* a story about just Charname and Anomen
Gorion can be alive or dead in the story, but the other two have to be living. Charname does not have to actively be present in the story if it has Anomen and Gorion talking about them.
Anomen is a complicated character with so much potential, and I love seeing him grow into one of the many things he can become. I like him as both LG and CN, and also as LN trying to find his way, and I really enjoy seeing his role as a cleric and a guardian of Helm be emphasized.
Charname, who can have so many faces, is effectively the glue in this story. My OTP is F!Charname/Anomen and I would be very happy to see them in a budding or established relationship, but I would be equally happy seeing them working together, getting to know each other, or supporting each other in friendship. I prefer my Charnames to be female, and of good or neutral alignment.
Gorion has a small but crucial role in the story, and there just isn't enough fic about Charname and their foster father. I generally see Gorion as a loving parent and would not want to see him portrayed otherwise, and I prefer Charnames that are at least fond of him, whether or not they agreed on the manner of their upbringing.
Getting all three in the same story, alive, will obviously require canon divergence.

This wintery Cinderella story is pure Christmas for me! (Fandom promo here)
Popelka is my favourite in the tagset, and my favourite Cinderella of all time, but I chose Any for this request as I would love to see stories centered on the others as well.
Popelka|Cinderella (either name is perfectly fine) does as she is told and shows kindness to her friends - and then she sneaks off to go ride her horse and throw snowballs at silly young hunters. Animals help her, she helps herself, and she is capable of both sassy grace and pure mischief.
The Prince is definitely a jock, interested only in hunting and goofing around with his friends - until the ball, anyway. I see him as unready and intimidated by the responsibilities he is expected to take up in the future, and the importance of finding the next queen is nothing to him - again, until the ball. I like to think of him as having the potential to upgrade to himbo, if he is wise enough to take after Popelka.
Dora is spoiled and pampered, and there is no denying she does take a bit after her mother, but she always gives me the feeling that she might have done better if raised differently. Maybe she needs to get away as well?
The Queen is very clearly a significant power behind the throne. She is gentle and subtle, and sees things that the King does not. I think she is a wonderful diplomat.

- In the game, if you get Feng to disable your tracker while Ethan's storyline is still ongoing, you never see him again. What if you ran into him again? On the Eye or even much later?
- Ethan or Peake go looking for Sleeper but they have become part of the mushroom sentient loci!
- A magical fantasyland AU where Ethan is a bit less of a bastard and actually becomes Sleeper's bodyguard for realsies
- Canon divergence: AUs where things end much differently, for better or worse. Maybe the Hunter gets the Sleeper, or Ankhita talks things out with Ashton after all, or Ethan gets exactly what he wants (and has the chance to regret it). Give me new and unseen good endings! Give me bad endings!

- Zan's conversation with Liv, what a whammer! Zan's decision paralysis is such an interesting and tragically understandable consequence of his Craft. I'd love to see more exploring Zan's craft and how it impacts his interactions with others
- That moment when Zan comes back to the hideout at the end of Act III to find seemingly all of the team dead... ;_;

- Banks & Rion interactions are extremely entertaining. They're both pretty aloof individuals who on some level crave more trust and closeness than what they have
- Banks's dream in the Death Door Dimension has her suggesting to her other self to mess with the timelines and do things differently when she first meets Jen (including "Kill her and see how that feels... if it's too much of a bummer, you can always rez her again later.") I would loooove a little fic of this scene
- More Banks & Jen or Banks/Jen, period. More Spicy!Jen, as Banks puts it
- Do dog!Rion and Darrell the Cat ever interact? They ought to!
- I have a swooning weak spot for everything about Banks. I love characters who put on a pragmatic, aloof front but in reality care a little more than they're comfortable admitting... as dream!Banks puts it, Banks is also a bleeding heart in her own way. Would love to see the conflict between her cold pragmatism and compassion explored more.
- I'm weak for the kind of ragtag band of clowns in silly hats becoming friends that TBW's story represents. Would love some dramatic moments or canon divergence.
- Something involving the Confidence outfits and characters reacting to some of the more... daring... outfit choices on their teammates! :D
- More Liv being scary and antagonism between her and the team

- It might be helpful to say that Immemorial, Introductory Antimemetics and Fresh Hell are among my favourite of the qntm Antimemetics stories. There's something deeply compelling about these fairly short, self-contained narratives of people having to come to terms with some horrifying antimemetic SCP and struggle to survive (with varying results). The third person limited POV, and the fact that the reader experiences the mindfuckery right alongside the characters, is also incredible. Care to write something in a similar vein?
- Another reason I love Immemorial and Introductory Antimemetics is that they're both about scientists and the legacy of knowledge - the desperate, hopeless nobility of doing your part to increase the sum of understanding for humankind. Even if you yourself are forgotten, even if your own contribution was underwhelming and not particularly exciting and only useful insofar as it contributed to the process of elimination. Kim survives his encounter with Alastair Grey chiefly because a string of unfortunates before him found out what didn't work, and wrote it down, solely so someone else in the future would be able to do better. In turn, Eli Moreno encounters a monument that is the sole remaining legacy of a once-mighty civilization. It is incredibly chilling and more than a little tragic and deeply humbling.
- Canon has a lot of unexplored material there that is only eerily alluded to - the sheer size the Foundation's division used to have, the other organisations around the world of whom no trace remains except that it can be inferred, indirectly, that they used to be there. Would you like to explore what some of them - these casualties of past Antimemetics Wars - might have looked like?
- A lot of antimemetic SCPs have an effect on memory, but some aspects of SCP-3125 have an effect on free will
- We see some of the aftermath of characters recovering from hypnosis in canon, after SCP-3125 is defeated. Care to do more with this and explore it further? :) Whether it's a more detailed look than what we see in the Epilogue/Champions of Nothing, or a different incident prior to the emergence of SCP-3125
- I would also love a more experimental format: in-universe document or interactive fiction, for example! A dating simulator could be fun! :D
