I nominated my favorite characters, and Ruza is probably my most favorite, but I adore pretty much everyone in the musical. It's such a stirring look into vital U.S. history. Each character is strong and compelling, and I'm eager to read any further exploration of their lives before, during, or after the events of the musical.

I headcanon Nell as any/all of: queer, ace, trans, enby. On that front, maybe Valerian and Nell could compare notes on living beyond the binary. Polly and Nell might do some sexual exploration together, but I don't think they'd work as a couple. Nell and Sofia could have magical hate-sex but probably never trust each other enough to let themselves have feelings (although feel free to try to sell me on that). In terms of sex, any rating is fine by me, as long as any sexual content is consensual. Any incorporated kink MUST be safe, sane, and consensual in this fic.
I get a kick out of Nell's platonic relationship with Isambard | Charles; to me, he's like another Jackson sibling. George is a delight, and I like Roxy; any more development of Nell's relationship with her family, especially pre- or post-canon, would be great. Billy is fun, and there's obviously a lot more to learn about his connection with Nell. For Nell (and any others), what happens next?!

This graphic novel, I love it immensely. It has so many great, fascinating characters, more than I could nominate even with a friend's help, and I could not decide on someone specific to request. Excluding other competing teams like Enbious and the Boneshakers even from nomination was a tough decision. It's such a rich world, with room for lots more backstory, both bio and found family time, and what happens next before/amidst the newspaper clippings.
Billie Mae and Luella are my favorite ship; I'd love to see more of the future for them, especially if they get back together. Loretta and James, I'd prefer stayed together. Beyond those two couples, I'm open to any ships among the nominated characters, racing referees, or unnamed members of the two teams I mentioned. In terms of sex, any rating is fine by me, as long as any sexual content is consensual. Any incorporated kink MUST be safe, sane, and consensual in this fic.

The CW really cheated us with this show's cancelation. For the nominated characters, among many other things, I wish we could've learned more about Rowan and his goals, seen whether Tom could retrieve his dad and what new inventions he could achieve, and watched Isaac continue to figure out what he really wanted.
I ship Rowan/Tom, Rowan/Tom/Isaac, Tom/Isaac/Zenzi, and Isaac/Zenzi. I'd be up for all four of them together too. In terms of sex, any rating is fine by me, as long as any sexual content is consensual. Any incorporated kink MUST be safe, sane, and consensual in this fic.

Ness and Flavia are both on the sidelines of the main (masculine) storyline of The Lantern Bearers, but if if is a story about the creation of Britain (or maybe just England, which leaves Ness in a rather interesting narrative spot) they are doing a lot of the labor in that creation. Literally. I would love a story that centers their narratives -- I would particularly love to have Flavia's story, which is almost entirely off-screen. What happens to her to make her decide to stay, when Aquila gives her the option to escape? Does she think she has no other possible future? Or Ness -- what futures does she imagine for herself? For Minnow? Aquila is away for so much of the narrative: what does she think of what he's doing? Is the future he imagines the same one she does?
Sutcliffe, for all her virtues, is largely uninterested in the interior life of her female characters -- but I would really love to know what makes one or the other of these women tick.

Palliser Series - Anthony Trollope

I would be happy with a story about either of the two characters separately -- but I do also have prompts for them together.
I really love Plantagenet and Glencora, the ill-matched power couple at the heart of the series, who get off to such an awful start and overcome it, and really do come to love each other. Any little scene from their life together would be great: maybe something Glencora says helps Plantagenet work out a political problem? Or something he says helps her solve a social one? Or maybe they are actually just hanging out together. What are they like as parents, when their children are small? Does Plantagenet even get so see the children? Does Glencora make him? OR! What if she outlived Plantagenet, instead of the other way around? How would life alone be for her -- terrible? Or also in some ways freeing? I also love her relationship with Madame Max, how they move from rivalry to alliance. Basically my one complaint about the later books is that there is insufficient Glencora in them, so you know, that's my prompt for her: more of Glencora being her wonderful self.
I also have a huge amount of sympathy for Laura Kennedy, who ruins her own life so completely and hopelessly, and thought that she was stronger than she turned out to be, and is in many ways an unpleasant person but even so suffers such an awful fate. I'd love to see the story where she throws caution and practicality to the winds and marries Phineas instead of Mr Kennedy. I also believe strongly that Kennedy was at least as sexually interested in Phineas as he was in Laura -- certainly after the episode where Phineas saves his life -- so if you want to set up some kind of threesome here I would be 100% behind it. I feel like this could only be better for Laura. Anything could be better for Laura.
Laura and Glencora are in some ways complete opposites: Laura cares about politics, Glencora doesn't, Laura is terribly serious, Glencora isn't. And although they both sacrifice what they think will be their happiness, Laura loses terribly by it, and Glencora gains. I would love a meeting between the two of them: not that I think Glencora would really see what was going on with Laura, but maybe she would say SOMETHING Laura couldn't write off as superficial nonsense. If you couldn't tell, I would really love for things to work out better for Laura, however you manage that.

Kaos (TV 2024)

I was gutted by the news that this was canceled (why does Netflix even commission new series any more, really) so obviously I would adore the epic conclusion to the prophecy plotline in which Ariadne, Caeneus, and Eurydice team up, the Olympian gods fall, and horrible kitten-killer Zeus gets his comeuppance and is utterly destroyed. However, if that is a tall order (and obviously, it is a tall order!) here are some other ideas, focused on the characters I've selected.
I'd love a day in the life story about Medusa dealing with the Underworld bureaucracy, maybe especially as they start to realize that things are getting out of hand and something is going wrong with the souls. Obviously she knows something about it by the show, but how did she find out? For Eurydice, what happens next? Now she is on earth again, as a prophet, alone -- what is she going to do? I'd be interested to see her meet Cassandra again -- or to meet her mother again. And Ariadne! Who has fulfilled the prophecy she didn't know was hers... what happens now? How will she rule? How will she deal with the Trojans, and with the Gods?
One thing I really loved about the show was how well it paid off a little knowledge of Greek myth (like Caeneus being trans, or Dionysus acting as Orpheus' guide to the afterlife) but was also not afraid to make changes and create new storylines, like having Persephone disavow the narrative in the Homeric Hymn to Demeter. I also loved the way it plays with the idea of prophecy, and how misleading it can be when still being completely truthful, so anything that plays with that would be great.

The Aurelian Cycle - Rosaria Munda

I read these books earlier in the year and really liked them. Obviously I am a sucker for any story where someone tries to enact Platos's Republic and it turns out to be TERRIBLE but I also like that the novels don't shy away from how awful the system the revolution destroyed was. I love that there are no easy answers for any of the characters: rather than good guys and bad guys (although there are some) most of the characters are just people trying to do their best in an unjust world. I like that the books grapple with justice and necessity, so to speak, and would love a story that leaned into that.
My favorite character was, without doubt, Annie -- I loved her self-sacrifice, her suffering, and her eventual triumph, such as it is, given that the books provide a range of options from dreadful to not completely hopeless. I also liked that the books were willing to let her be whumped, and comforted, so some h/c in this fandom would be very welcome to me. I like her interactions with all the other characters -- Lee, obviously, but I also really loved the way her friendship with Crissa developed, and I found her relationship with Power really fascinating. I'd be really interested in a story where he survives the end of the series, and they have to build this new political world together. And although I absolutely loved the way the books left the Annie/Lee relationship I would also love a future in which they were able to get back together. I also wonder, since in a way Lee and Power are mirror-images of each other, what would have happened if it had been Power in the orphanage with Annie, and Lee who was adopted by a wealthy family? And Crissa! I would love to see Annie through her eyes, and I would love to see her working with Annie to create this new world of theirs. Is she frustrated by the way Annie has agreed to limit the political powers of the dragonriders? How effective is that decision, anyway? Or if you don't want to look into the future, at the start of the novels Annie and Crissa are not particularly close: maybe a scene from when they were younger, and didn't care for each other?

I welcome any rating or genre, but I'd prefer the work to stay at No Archive Warnings Apply levels of warnings. Target deaths are perfectly fine, though! Graphic Depictions of Violence are also fine with me, as long as it's not going into gore territory.
Since Karl's background has been retconned with basically every new iteration of the canon, I'd like to mention that I prefer Sniper Elite 4's background story for Karl. His father is British, his mother is German, he grew up in Berlin until his family escaped to the USA when the NSDAP took over. He's Jewish, which you don't have to actively include in this fic, just don't make him eat bacon or whatever, and please steer clear of antisemitic tropes.
This canon is set during World War 2, and mentioning the Nazis might not be avoidable and that's okay, I don't mind having them included when necessary (missions and such), but please don't attempt giving a Nazi character a redemption arc, and please don't include any actual real life Nazis in the fic.
My favourite WW2 era sniper rifle is the M1903 Springfield. If there's any need to mention a sniper rifle by name, I'd love it to be this one. Don't feel like you have to shoehorn it in, though!
In case you want to include German language dialogue (like overheard conversations) or snippets of intel, don't hold back, I do speak German. I'd appreciate correct grammar and spelling though, which I mainly mention since it's something the canon doesn't always manage to provide (looking at you, 'Spear of Destiny').
Please do not include explicit propaganda in your fic, neither in English nor in German.

I'd love to see something focused on Karl Fairburne and Jack Weaver; both a developing friendship or something with homoerotic undertones would be great! :D
Someone needs to take care of Karl's wounds after all, and you can't tell me he's not suffering from PTSD. That man needs a shoulder to cry on and someone who makes it alright (if only for one night) when alcohol just doesn't cut it anymore.
I also love the idea of Karl "Red Fox" Fairburne and "Mother Hen" secretly pining for each other, even though they know they will probably never meet. It could be Karl longing for her voice and looking forward to their next short conversation, or the other way round, Mother Hen worrying that Karl is alright and looking forward to hearing his voice again.
For Karl Fairburne and Jeff Sullivan I absolutely love the tension between them. Jeff can't stand Karl, and he's not holding back! You could focus on their incompatible traits and work ethics causing issues during a mission, or you could make it lead to "with benefits" situation where Jeff finds a more fun approach to dealing with the frustration Karl causes in him. Wink, wink.
I'm okay with a fic that only contains Karl and Mother Hen, one that only contains Karl and Jack, one that only contains Karl and Jeff, or one that only contains Karl.

Happy to receive almost anything here, Fluff, Smut, PWP (gimme that yuleporn!), Angst, Hurt/Comfort, a mission fic, a curtain fic, ... and all of this set whenever in the timeline, during initiation, during all classic games (including Absolution, feel free to give me Absolution Angst if you're into this!), during World of Assassination, after World of Assassination (canon and bad ending, go wild!), between the canon ending and Freelancer (the year apart), during their freelancing era, rebuilding the ICA... seriously, go wild. I would prefer a happy or at least hopeful/ambiguous ending for the fic.
I've read both novels ('Damnation' and 'Enemy Within'), the 'Birth of a Hitman' comics, and 'Overachievers' (which is currently not available to read on IOI's website, but you can find it in my Dropbox!), so if you'd like to incorporate anything from these parts of the canon or use them as a setting, don't hold back!
I love Mendoza. If you'd want to create something based on The Tango and The Betrayal, with all complicated undertones these moments carried, that'd be amazing.
My other two favourite destinations are Sapienza and Haven Island. A fic set here would be such a treat!
I don't think there's any destination I truly dislike though, so if your fic idea works best in, say, Hokkaido, or even somewhere we've never been in the games, that's still great. As I said, follow the Plot Bunny wherever it may lead you.
Including 47's amnesia (both in his past and in his present, should you choose WoA's Bad Ending for this fic) is always welcome. There's so much to explore!

I found this in the tag set and had to watch the film again. It certainly hits different, now that I'm not a teenager anymore as I was when I first saw this one in the cinema...

What I absolutely love here are the strong (as in well developed) characters and their interactions based on their different personalities. I would adore a fic that gives me more of this, be it as missing scenes set during the film, a prequel, um, maybe not a sequel because only one of the nominated characters survived... But hey, maybe even a sequel. Does Timothy feel guilty for not interfering so many times, does he wonder if he could've saved the others' lives had he been able to fight? Does he regret saving "Steamboat Willy"?
If you like to, I also welcome the inclusion of characters who were not nominated (and therefore not requested), if it fits the story you want to tell, especially Adrian Caparzo and Stanley Mellish, whose friendship could be interesting to explore in this group and the context of the mission. The friendship between John and Mike is another interesting thing to explore. Daniel is portrayed as very religious, did that at any point interfere with his position as a sniper?
So many possibilities! :D

I love the tense dynamic and the old friendship/shattered trust vibes between Sophia and Indy. If that's something you'd like to explore in any way, please do! All relationship types are welcome here; you can have them fall in love (again), have them have one night passion (that they may or may not regret), have a "Nur-Ab-Sal made them do it" situation (we know that he likes to possess Sophia) and either have them regret it or enjoy it, anything. If you just want them to go puzzling in the jungle together, I very much welcome that, too! Include Nur-Ab-Sal in this character group if you like, but you don't have to, I'm also just fine with Indy and Sophia alone.
For Indy and Marcus, I'd love to see their decades long friendship and the trust explored. Make Marcus join the Adventure (with or without Sophia and Nur-Ab-Sal), or write a missing scene or a prequel, let them search for something in the library together, anything you like to write about for these! :D

I'd prefer no graphic violence between Dominique and Darlene, but I understand that some canon or canon typical situations might call for a rougher handling. That's totally okay! Just don't make them hurt each other just to hurt each other, you know?
I ship Dominique and Darlene, but the fic of course doesn't have to be shippy! There's so much to explore between them. You can just have them work together, have Dominique arrest Darlene, have them slowly become friends, write a sequel where they are friends or an established couple, make them fall in love, make them board the plane together, you name it. Go wild.
If you want to, you may also include ensemble characters in a fic focused on Darlene and Dominique. I'd prefer we all pretend that Angela Moss didn't die, though. Have her be alive or don't mention what happened to her, please. :D
